Are you an experienced welder who takes pride in producing top-quality work? We’re looking for a Welding Technician with MIG welding experience to join our production team. This is a great opportunity to work with carbon and stainless steel products in a safe, collaborative, and innovative environment.
✅ Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate welding equipment, using specified fixtures and methods.
- Read and interpret blueprints/drawings for weld specifications and fabrication requirements.
- Inspect welded joints and conduct tests to meet company and CWB standards.
- Maintain daily production logs and communicate effectively with team members.
- Ensure adequate supply levels based on the production schedule; notify Supervisor when replenishment is needed.
- Recommend and implement improvements to welding processes and quality.
- Keep welding and testing equipment operating at peak performance.
- Follow all safe work practices and wear PPE at all times.
- Assist in the design, repair, and review of welding fixtures/equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Train and support other team members as needed.
Candidate Requirements:
- Proven experience as a welder working with tubular carbon and stainless steel products.
- MIG welding experience required. CWB Preferred.
- Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a focus on safety and quality.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- High level of personal accountability and integrity.
Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday
Day Shift (with potential overtime as required)
Safety & PPE:
- CSA-approved green patch safety boots required.
- PPE provided on-site, including gloves, safety glasses, and other protective gear.
