2nd Shift - “The Not-Quite-Night-Shift” Crew Needed

Start Time: 12:00 PM (AKA: The Not-So-Morning People Shift) where all the warehouse action heats up after lunch

Hate mornings? We get it! That’s why we created this beautiful unicorn of a shift. Start at noon, end when the job’s done or at 8:30 PM—all without the horror of a 5 AM alarm.

Do you enjoy lifting stuff, scanning things, and laughing in the face of gravity? Can you handle a powered pallet jack like it’s an extension of your own body? Are you the kind of person who shows up on time (or even early) without needing a motivational speech or a group text reminder?

We’re on the hunt for a Warehouse Associate who’s not afraid of an honest day’s work and has a healthy respect for reach trucks, order pickers, safety gear, and barcodes. You’ll help us move, scan, stage, and ship all kinds of exciting stuff (well… exciting to us , at least). You’ll be doing this all with a team that values integrity, teamwork, and getting stuff done without drama.

What You’ll Actually Be Doing

• Taming heavy machinery (motorized pallet jacks, order pickers, reach trucks—you name it)
• Scanning things like a supermarket pro on a mission
• Moving products from here to there (and sometimes over there)
• Working safely because we like our team in one piece
• Reporting things that look weird or broken (no one likes surprises here)
• Keeping things tidy
• Being a decent human and team player

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Current valid driver license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to be certified for operation of reach trucks. Order Pickers are a bonus!
• Effectively use RF technology and utilize computer systems as a tool of the job.
• Work independently or on a team.
• Dexterity and coordination to effectively operate equipment and perform assigned tasks.
• Good communication and time management skills.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

The mental and physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an individual to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch,and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 35 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and color vision. Employee must be able to work at heights up to 20 ft.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Work environment includes exposure to dust and seasonal variances in temperature due to the warehouse atmosphere. Will also be regularly exposed to fragrances and odors that come from the storage of cleaning chemicals and equipment. The noise level is moderate.
