About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President for its Investment Banking team, with a focus on Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) in the middle market. The successful candidate will be tasked with leading the end-to-end execution of M&A transactions, both on the sell-side and buy-side, and will be responsible for developing and maintaining client relationships with executives in the AEC industry, as well as with private equity sponsors and strategic acquirers. This role also involves overseeing the preparation of marketing materials, conducting financial modeling and valuation analyses, managing due diligence processes, and supporting the origination of new business opportunities. The Vice President will work closely with senior leadership to ensure the delivery of high-quality M&A advisory services and will be expected to mentor and develop junior team members. Applicants for the Vice President position should have 6-10 years' of investment banking experience, with a strong emphasis on M&A execution. The role requires a candidate with a proven track record of leading transactions independently, a deep understanding of financial modeling, valuation techniques, and transaction structuring, and strong interpersonal and communication skills. A Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field is required, with an MBA or other advanced degree preferred. While prior exposure to the AEC industry or adjacent sectors is a plus, it is not mandatory. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced, deal-driven environment.
