Job Details

• Riverview Medical Center South located at 158 Hospital Drive, Carthage, TN 37030.
• Highpoint Health – Riverview is a 25-bed critical access hospital in Carthage, Tennessee.
• Located on the Cumberland River with access to water activities such as fishing, boating, and other water sports at Cordell Hull Lake and Defeated Creek Marina.
• An hour drive away from Nashville.

Job Requirements

• Must have certifications prior to start as required by client; client reserves the right to require additional certifications not listed.
• Certification/Licensure required to work as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) in Tennessee.
• Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS.
• Minimum 1+ years of experience.
• Ability to work independently in a critical access hospital setting.
• Comfortable being the only Respiratory Therapist on shift.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in Emergency Room and Critical Care settings.

Schedule Information

• Shift details provided; weekly guaranteed hours: 36.
• Weekend hours every other week or as needed.
• Call requirements as needed.
• Orientation is weekly on Mondays.

• Facility Department/Cost Center: 16753 (754) RESP THERAPY.
• Role: Therapist - RRT.
• Specialty: Respiratory.
• Number of beds: 25.
• Equipment: Bipap/Cpap, Ventilators, Vapotherm.
• EHR: Meditech.
• Patient population: all ages.
• Supervisor: Director, Respiratory Therapy and Pulmonary Rehabilitation.
• Must have skills: ability to work independently, comfortable being only RT on shift, strong critical thinking and problem solving, ER and critical care experience.
