Prime Staffing is seeking a travel Pharmacist for a travel job in New York, New York.

Requirements (Must-Have)

• Active New York State Pharmacist License
• Graduate of an ACPE-accredited College of Pharmacy
• 0–2 years of experience as a licensed pharmacist (or more accepted)
• Inpatient hospital pharmacy experience
  • Mail-order or prescription mailing experience does NOT qualify
• Chemo preparation experience (CHEMO PREP REQUIRED)
• Ability to float between multiple specialties:

Pharmacist Level 1 ,supports patient care by preparing medications, providing pharmacological information, and monitoring drug therapy in collaboration with the healthcare team.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately and efficiently dispense medications
• Resolve questions related to formulary and non-formulary medications following departmental policies
• Provide dosing and therapeutic recommendations , incorporating age-specific and kinetic considerations
• Perform patient education , including:
  • proper dosing
  • timing and adherence
  • potential side effects
  • drug–drug interactions
• Support the multidisciplinary team by offering clinical expertise in medication therapy
• Follow all hospital guidelines, safety practices, and workflow protocols
