\nRegistered Nurse - PCU
\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
\n• 13-week assignment duration
\n• Weekend requirement: Either every other weekend or 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week schedule
\n• Work on hospitalist unit/general medicine PCU with current 1:5 ratios (goal is 1:4)
\n• Float as needed to other PCU units and potentially Med Surg
\n• Care for adult and geriatric patients with pulmonary and other medicine-related illnesses
\n• 20-bed telemetry PCU specializing in Hospitalist service patients
\n• Unit can accommodate 2 ventilated patients (chronic trach patients, not ICU level)
\n• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
\n• Epic charting system experience required
\n• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
\n• Skills required: Telemetry, PCU/stepdown care, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, blood product administration, central and peripheral line care, cardiac drip management, airway management
\n• Handle chest tubes, IV drips (Cardizem, Heparin, Insulin, dopamine, dobutamine, Amiodarone, Nitro), trach care, PICC lines
\n• Work with oxygen modes including CPAP and BiPAP
\n• 32 hours of orientation provided
\n• Must work at least 1 holiday per assignment (2 holidays during winter season)
\n• All RTO must be submitted upfront with application
