Adelphi is seeking Physical Therapists to provide Physical Therapy Services for a school district located in Yakima Washington. The Physical Therapist will provide appropriate physical therapy services to students of the school through physical therapy evaluations, observations and consultations. Maintain confidentiality. Responsibilities: Assess referred students for special education through appropriate testing and diagnostic practice. Interpret testing results and implications to school staff, parents and students as needed. Write physical therapy reports and complete eligibility reports. Confer with teachers and parents through conducting classroom observations and provide feedback. Participate in student support meetings, and assist in collaborative problem-solving. Contribute to the development of Individualized Education Plans (IEP) Establish and maintain a professional and positive working relationship with students, parents, staff and the general public. Other duties assigned by the Director of Special Services.
