Adelphi is seeking physical therapists to provide PT consultation at a school district in San Antonio, Texas. The ideal candiate must have Field experience in public-school setting and be capable of working with students of a wide range of ages and ability levels.Job Quick Facts: Ref#:BD-620-02 Profession: Allied Health Specialty: Physical Therapist Location: San Antonio, Texas Facility Type: School Job Type: Contract Shift Schedule: As Per School Calendar Start Date: August 01, 2024 Duration: 1 year Rate: $50/hrRequirements: Valid Occupational Therapist (PT) license in the state of Texas. Bachelor's or masters degree in occupational therapy from an American Occupational Therapy Association-approved institution. Responsibilities: Implement childrens OT/PT individualized educational plans. Conduct evaluations/eligibility per District and Federal Educational guidelines. Attend meetings with multi-disciplinary teams to discuss such services. Effectively use the District's electronic IEP system, after training provided by the District. Follow District standards for assessment/evaluation/eligibility and if eligible, develop individualized educational plans for eligible students. Comply with timeline for services per federal law. Complete evaluations, documentation and submit prior to billing. Other duties as assigned by the administration.
