WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM YOU?

We are looking for a Technical Instructor – International Pulp Applications to join our Education and Technology team at Suzano. This position plays a key role in delivering technical education and applied knowledge to internal and external stakeholders, supporting the global adoption of our Biopulp (paper-grade eucalyptus pulp) in paper and packaging applications, especially as a substitute for softwood.

The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in pulp and paper processes , excellent communication skills, and the ability to translate complex technical content into practical training materials tailored to diverse global audiences.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Degree in Engineering, Pulp and Paper, Industrial Chemistry, or a related technical field.
• Experience in the pulp and paper industry, especially with refining processes and fiber optimization.
• Deep understanding of pulp refining principles , fiber morphology, and benchmarking across fiber types (Biopulp vs. softwood).
• Experience with pilot trials , pulp characterization, and production parameters.
• Strong communication and public speaking skills , with the ability to engage technical and commercial audiences.
• Proficiency in English (additional languages are a plus).
• Experience in cross-cultural environments , with the ability to deliver training globally (EMEA, Americas, Asia).
• Structured, proactive and customer-focused profile.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO:

• Plan and deliver technical training programs for customer operations , internal commercial teams (sales & tech assistance), and partners.
• Facilitate hands-on and theoretical training on pulp refining optimization, Biopulp applications, and fiber benchmarking.
• Support the commercial team with credible technical insights to strengthen customer conversations.
• Act as a technical ambassador for Biopulp in customer meetings, events, and industry panels.
• Coordinate and execute fiber benchmarking campaigns , lab trials, and performance analysis (e.g., drainability, strength, formation).
• Translate complex pulp and fiber data into educational materials for non-expert audiences.
• Accelerate softwood substitution in packaging, printing, and tissue products by showcasing Biopulp’s performance.
• Collaborate with global teams to ensure technical knowledge is adapted to local contexts and customer needs.
