POSITION: Supply Chain Technician

JOB SUMMARY:

The Supply Chain Technician position will be responsible for the coordination of raw materials, finished product, and EverGreen Solutions (EGS) movements for the facility. This position will collaborate with Operations and Supply Chain to coordinate the trucking, rail, and outside storage operations for the facility. The Supply Chain Tech will also maintain the material movements into and out of the facility produce monthly reports accordingly.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Support Supply Chain and Operations regarding schedule for raw materials, truck and rail movements, and ensuring deliveries are timely. The function will serve as the primary production point of contact for all daily movements of products in and out of the facility. The Supply Chain Technician is to work closely with Production to ensure that the production plan is met to ensure uninterrupted plant operations.
2. Maintain office supplies and storeroom inventory. Receive packages and ship sample products as needed. Support supply inventory for Admin, Operations, and Supply Chain.
3. Responsible for maintaining and updating the plants raw material and EGS inventory records. This function will require coordination between the production and accounting groups to ensure that raw material and product movements are tracked and maintained in order to account for all product movements.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITES:

• Develop and assist in the maintenance of an inventory control system for materials at the facility. Responsible for the shipping and receiving coordination at the facility. The coordinator will be responsible for receiving and verification of packages received and sent from the facility.
• Complete and continuous development with all DOT and Hazmat training requirements
• Creation of all necessary BOL’s and shipping manifests for all finished product and sample shipments from the facility

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• A minimum of three years of trucking and/or rail logistics.
• High School diploma
• Proficient with MS Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Trained in DOT/Hazmat shipping is preferred
