Strategic Operations Lead, Regional Growth

The Uber Eats team is seeking a highly motivated operations leader to join our US & Canada Grocery and Retail Operations Team. The role involves partnering with strategic merchants to help them grow by maximizing their investment returns on the platform. As the Grocery and Convenience Regional Growth Lead, you will collaborate closely with merchant partners, Enterprise Account Managers, and the broader Operations team to drive regional revenue growth, focusing on popular local brands. You will work cross-functionally with product, marketing, data science, operations, and commercial teams to enhance user adoption and growth, emphasizing local relevance and celebrating neighborhood and merchant uniqueness. The role requires leading through ambiguity to deliver high-impact initiatives that improve customer experience across the US & Canada, with ownership and autonomy over your work.

What You Will Do

1. Manage Demand Growth Strategies at regional and local levels by developing and executing marketing and investment plans for regional merchant partners.
2. Analyze performance using data-driven insights to identify improvement areas and recommend strategies to optimize investment returns and unlock merchant investments on the platform.
3. Execute growth playbooks, test new demand strategies, and drive revenue through experimentation and optimization.
4. Engage with external stakeholders, partnering with strategic merchants on strategy and execution to enhance their performance on UberEats.
5. Drive cross-functional alignment by collaborating with Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams for seamless execution of growth strategies.
6. Develop scalable processes by implementing best practices and operational efficiencies across multiple partners.
7. Allocate capital effectively by developing frameworks to determine investment priorities based on market characteristics.

Basic Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in operations, business/management, strategy, planning, or management consulting.
• Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets; SQL skills preferred.
• Bachelor's degree required.

Salary ranges vary by location, e.g., Chicago, IL: USD$140,000–USD$155,000; San Francisco, CA: USD$155,000–USD$172,000, with eligibility for bonuses, equity, and other benefits. More details at Uber Careers Benefits .
