*Speech-language Pathologist, Rehab-Etowah*

*Job Type: Full Time, Variable Shift*

*Evaluates and treats patient populations for swallowing, speech-language and therapy needs.*

*Core competencies include, but are not limited to the following:*
* Performs and documents initial and ongoing assessments of patient's condition.
* Designs and implements a plan of care which is appropriate to problems identified and involves the patient and family.
* Educates and counsels patients and families regarding treatment plans and progress.
* Plans and/or assists with patient discharge from therapy services.
* Supervises activities of clinical fellows, students, and other support personnel.

*Qualifications:*

Minimum Education
* Master's of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology: Preferred
* Required Licenses[Tennessee, United States] Speech-language Pathologist
* Current Speech-language Pathology License in State of Tennessee:â–¡ Preferred X Required

*Required Skills Certifications:*

The below certifications will be required at the time of hire:
* Basic Life Support (BLS)
