RLP Mechanical is seeking a hands-on, business-minded Service Manager who brings both leadership experience and a network of customer relationships and technician contacts to help us aggressively grow our commercial service division.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead, develop, and grow a team of HVAC/R, plumbing, and kitchen equipment technicians, dispatchers, and support staff
• Bring your business contacts and technician network to RLP to drive new customer acquisition and technician recruitment
• Leverage your industry relationships to build partnerships, win service contracts, and expand market share
• Manage day-to-day service operations across DFW — dispatch, scheduling, billing, and service delivery
• Drive accountability, set clear performance standards, and build a high-performing team culture
• Oversee financial performance — P&L, margins, and operational KPIs
• Quote, estimate, and confidently close HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, and kitchen service opportunities
• Collaborate with leadership on growth strategies and operational improvements

What We’re Looking For:

• 6–8 years of commercial mechanical (HVAC/R, plumbing) experience. Commercial kitchen experience preferred.
• 4–6 years of service leadership — with a proven track record of growing teams and customer bases
• A strong, existing network of customers and technicians you can bring with you
• Experience managing P&L, driving operational efficiency, and improving margins
• Strong quoting, estimating, and service management skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and dispatch/service software
• Valid Texas driver’s license and clean driving record

Bonus Points For:

• Degree in Business, Engineering, or Construction Management
• Familiarity with Texas HVAC and plumbing codes
• Experience with service management or ERP systems
