Senior UX Designer role at Arine . Based in San Francisco. Arine is a healthcare technology and clinical services company focused on improving medication management and patient outcomes through its SaaS platform.

The Role

Arine is looking for a Senior User Experience Designer based in San Francisco to join a team of product managers, technologists and clinical professionals in building Arine\'s Virtual Pharmacist platform and related solutions. The product management team plans growth; the design team focuses on the overall experience and flows that underpin patient outcomes, customer success, and user satisfaction in Arine solutions. This role will own the user experience of Clinical Content and Intelligence in the pharmacist platform and contribute to broader design strategy, UX/UI, and user success across enterprise solutions.

What You\'ll Be Doing

• User Research and Analysis: Conduct internal and external user interviews, usability testing, and data analysis to understand user needs, pain points, and behaviors to inform design decisions
• Ideation: Lead product and feature teams in brainstorming sessions, workshops and design exercises, incorporating ideas from customers and internal teams
• UX Design: Transform research and ideation into user flows, wireframes, sketches and prototypes; iterate with stakeholders and engineering
• UI Design: Create pixel-perfect mockups aligned with brand and ensure proper implementation
• Driving Clarity: Use design thinking to align teams around user-centered design through ambiguity and nuance
• Design Systems and Processes: Refine and contribute to the end-to-end design system, style specs, guides, templates and processes
• User Perspective: Represent user needs in decision making and define crisp requirements that deliver value
• Ownership & Strategy: Develop expertise on product areas and help prioritize and execute design work

Who You Are and What You Bring

• Minimum 5 years experience in user experience, UI design or related field working with software products
• Experience in user research methodologies, design thinking, information architecture, interaction design, and usability testing
• Customer empathy with a drive to understand user needs
• Ability to guide front-end developers and product managers, provide constructive feedback, and collaborate effectively
• Ability to understand and solve complex user problems and balance engineering trade-offs
• Excellent communication skills to articulate design concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong collaboration skills with product managers, clinical experts, engineers and other stakeholders
• Analytical and conceptual thinking to translate insights into actionable design improvements
• Familiarity with design tools like Figma, Adobe XD, and prototyping software
• Ability to recognize patterns across diverse use cases and product flows
• Self-starter with desire to define and drive product design standards across the company

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience in healthcare technology or related industry
• Frontend software development or software product management experience
• Understanding or direct experience with AI/Machine Learning concepts
• Experience with design systems/Frontend libraries
• Experience with motion graphics software or animation design
• Experience organizing and facilitating design/product workshops

The posted salary range represents base pay and may vary based on experience, level, location and other factors. Base salary range: $145,000-160,000/year.
