🚀 Senior Instructional Systems Designer – Lead with Impact

Engenium is partnering with an innovative training and simulation company to find a Senior Instructional Systems Designer who’s ready to take the lead on meaningful, high-impact training programs. What you'll be doing:

• Leading large-scale instructional design projects from kickoff to delivery.
• Guiding and mentoring ISD team members — your leadership will set the tone for excellence.
• Consulting with senior stakeholders on training strategy and performance goals.
• Developing smart, learner-focused solutions across formats: instructor-led, web-based, mobile, and more.
• Translating complex material into compelling, intuitive content through collaboration with SMEs.
• Helping recruit and grow the team when internal bandwidth needs a boost.
• Supporting RFP responses and shaping future project opportunities.
• Designing evaluation tools to measure effectiveness and ensure constant improvement.
• Staying on top of the latest in instructional design, learning theory, and digital tools.
• Advising on budgets, timelines, tasking, and risk — you'll be both visionary and tactical.

What we're looking for:

• A degree in a related field + 10+ years of ISD experience , or a master’s with 8+ years — but strong experience matters more than paper.
• Proven ability to lead teams, juggle multiple projects, and design training that truly sticks.
• Comfort navigating ambiguity and scaling design efforts based on real-world constraints.
• Familiarity with risk management, production workflows, and formal deliverables (e.g., IMS, CDRLs) is a plus.
