As a Security Professional - Utilities Site - Full Time in Lutz, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment at a critical utilities location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, remaining highly visible to help prevent potential issues, and providing outstanding customer service to everyone you encounter. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
• Monitor and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns within the location, following established protocols.
• Interact with employees, visitors, and contractors in a courteous and professional manner while upholding site-specific security-related requirements.
• Assist with access control and verify credentials of individuals entering restricted areas as required by site policies.
• Document and communicate incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and client procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
