As a Security Officer - Transportation Patrol Part-Time in Essington, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a transportation-focused location, you will actively monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and uphold a secure environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and to observe and report any unusual conditions or incidents.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings within the transportation location, reporting any security-related concerns or suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel.
• Document all security-related incidents and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal's procedures and site-specific requirements.
• Work collaboratively with site staff and local authorities when necessary to address security-related concerns and/or emergencies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
