Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license and minimum 1+ years Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is sought for a full-time, contract position supporting K-12 students within an itinerant role across a school district in Burnsville, MN. This assignment involves providing comprehensive nursing care to students in multiple district schools, ensuring their health needs are appropriately managed during the school day.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver nursing services including medication administration, health assessments, and routine care in compliance with state regulations and school policies.
• Collaborate with school staff, families, and healthcare providers to develop and implement individualized healthcare plans.
• Respond promptly to student health emergencies and maintain accurate health records.
• Educate students and staff on health promotion and disease prevention.
• Support students with chronic health conditions and assist with daily health maintenance tasks as needed.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current and valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) licensure in the state of Minnesota.
• Experience working in a school setting preferred but not required.
• Ability to work onsite at various district locations; this position is strictly onsite with no virtual or remote work options.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and educational personnel.
• Reliable, proactive, and skilled in managing confidential health information.

Location:

• Burnsville, MN area (Itinerant within a K-12 school district)

Contract Details:

• Immediate start with contract through June 3, 2026
• Approximately 35 hours per week
