Scientist (Biology) - Bay Area

We are representing an innovative biotech company in the SF Bay Area seeking a Scientist – Biology to join its collaborative and fast-paced R&D team . This is a hands-on laboratory role ideal for someone with a strong foundation in molecular and cellular biology , who thrives on scientific discovery and teamwork.

What You’ll Do:

• Design and conduct experiments in molecular biology, cell biology, and/or biochemistry to support research programs.
• Culture and maintain various cell lines , and perform assays such as qPCR, Western blotting, ELISA, flow cytometry , and cell-based functional assays .
• Collect, analyze, and interpret experimental data; maintain meticulous lab notebooks and electronic records.
• Prepare research summaries/presentations for internal teams and external partners.
• Collaborate with cross-functional groups including chemistry, bioinformatics, and project management to accelerate program goals.
• Maintain lab equipment and ensure adherence to all safety and quality standards .

What You Bring:

• B.S. or M.S. in Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or related discipline.
• 3–5 years of relevant lab experience in academic, pharmaceutical, or biotech environments.
• Proficiency in core techniques such as cell culture, molecular cloning, qPCR, ELISA, Western blot , etc.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• A collaborative spirit with the ability to work both independently and in a team setting.
• Background in immunology, neuroscience , or antibody-based therapeutics is a plus.
• Familiarity with assay development or high-throughput screening methods.
