Description

Provides safe efficient age specific nursing care to patients and families using the nursing process in order to assist them to attain, maintain, regain, and sustain optimal health status. Dimensions are:
\n• Implements the nursing process by delivering effective relationship based nursing care.
\n• Demonstrates technical skills in care delivery that result in safe practice and positive care outcomes.
\n• Demonstrates clear communication and effective collaboration to optimize patient care and clinical operations.
\n• Develops self and contributes to the professional practice of nursing.
\n• Displays leadership that influences optimal clinical and operational outcomes.

Qualifications

\n
• 1 year RN experienced or for a New Grad RN at least 6 months of Med Surg experience required. 
\n
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program required, BSN preferred
\n
• Current RN licensure in the State of Ohio required
\n
• Professional Certification from approved organization preferred
\n
• Current BLS Provider Certification, issued by the American Heart Association or must be obtained during Nursing Orientation
\n
• Preferred Qualifications: Acute care and Dialysis experience
\n
• Call Requirement
\n
• Every other weekend
\n
• This position supports the off site locations of the west side: Avon, Elyria, Parma, Samaritan and St. John's. 
\n

Education Requirements:

\n
• Other Accredited Program: Diploma in Nursing or
\n
• (ADN) Associate's Degree in Nursing (Required)
\n
• (BSN) Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Preferred)
\n
• (MSN) Master's Degree in Nursing (Preferred)
\n
