8 West is a 28 bed Adult ICU Stepdown Unit servicing a wide range of patients requiring higher intermediate care. The unit has its own floor Pharmacist, floor Mobility Aid and Patient Care Liaison. Common Diagnoses Include: Sepsis, Respiratory Failure, Drug/Alcohol Withdrawal, GI Bleeds, Strokes, CHF, Dysrhythmias, and Post-Cardiac Catheterization Interventions. Education Requirements
\n Diploma RN, Associate or Bachelor's Degree of Nursing from an accredited program \n \nLicense & Certification Requirements
\nAn Ohio RN license is not required to be considered for this position. If selected to move forward, employment offers may be made contingent on candidate successfully obtaining RN license within time frame discussed at the time of offer acceptance.
\nCurrent BLS Provider Certification, issued by the American Heart Association, must be obtained during Nursing Orientation.
