A Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Department conducts initial and ongoing patient assessments, develops appropriate care plans, and coordinates multidisciplinary patient care. The RN monitors and communicates patient conditions to healthcare teams, patients, and families, ensuring comprehensive emergency medical support. This position requires relevant nursing licensure, certifications, and experience in emergency care settings.

Position Summary:
RN performs initial and ongoing assessments of patient's condition. Establishes a plan of care which is appropriate to problems identified and involves the patient according to his or her capabilities and desires. Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family. Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
