SUMMARY

This position entails leadership, management, and hands-on responsibilities in ensuring the quality and reliability of SAP implementations and integrations. This person will also help define and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP systems, quality assurance methodologies, testing automation, and team management. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and implement comprehensive QA strategies and plans for SAP projects. Develop and maintain automated test scripts for SAP modules. Implement and manage continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for automated testing. Ensure the automation framework is scalable and reusable across different SAP projects. Create and maintain QA documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test scripts. Ensure adherence to QA best practices and standards. Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance QA efficiency and effectiveness. Oversee the execution of manual and automated testing for SAP modules. Ensure thorough testing of SAP functionalities, interfaces, and integrations. Manage defect tracking and resolution processes. Coordinate with developers, project managers, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure high-quality deliverables. Conduct regression testing to validate the stability of SAP systems after changes or upgrades. ADDITIONAL DUTIES Work closely with SAP functional and technical teams to understand requirements and design test strategies. Collaborate with business users to gather testing requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives. Communicate QA status, risks, and issues to project stakeholders, including senior management. Coordinate with external vendors and consultants as needed. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Lead and mentor a team of SAP QA analysts and testers. Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure timely delivery of QA activities. Provide training and development opportunities for team members. Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and/or ABILITIES Proficiency in SAP testing tools and methodologies. Strong leadership skills. Proficiency with test automation tools such as Tricentis Tosca, or equivalent. Knowledge of SAP Solution Manager and other SAP testing frameworks. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience with CI/CD tools like Microsoft Test Manager, or equivalent. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP Quality Assurance. Strong understanding of SAP modules and functionalities. Excellent leadership abilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
