Title : Protection & Control Technician
Location : Up to 10k relocation package
Shift : 1st, M-F - 40 hour work week
Pay : $100k-$124k
Insight Global is currently seeking a Protection and Control Technician for a permanent full-time opportunity in the Lexington, KY area. This technician installs and maintains protection and control equipment, including relays, RTUs, and SCADA systems. Responsibilities include ensuring wiring is correct, managing protection system asset databases, and preparing reports. This role involves bypassing, isolating, and restoring substation equipment, developing cost estimates, and coordinating work schedules with various departments and contractors. Additionally, they maintain documentation, perform safety checks, and assist with commissioning and troubleshooting of equipment.
