We're seeking a Program Director to join the Schenectady, NY team for the upcoming 2025–2026 academic year ! In this role, you'll oversee a specialized educational program serving high-risk and special needs students in a supportive, small-group setting. Responsibilities:

• Direct daily program operations for a K–12 student population
• Manage student success through proactive engagement and individualized support
• Oversee student behavior with a focus on de-escalation and Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI)
• Coordinate staff scheduling and involvement across grade levels
• Manage student activities, transitions, and needs throughout the school day
• Maintain consistent communication with families and caregivers
• Support a positive, structured learning environment for students and staff

Requirements:

• Administrative or leadership experience in an educational setting
• Background working with high-risk and/or special needs children (primary and secondary levels)
• Skilled in TCI and de-escalation techniques
• Strong rapport-building skills with both students and staff
• Organized, adaptable, and able to make quick, thoughtful decisions
• Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal
