Job Summary

1st shift 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Production Coordinator to oversee and enhance the efficiency of our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in coordinating production schedules, ensuring quality control, and facilitating communication between various departments within the manufacturing facility. This position requires a strong understanding of fabrication processes and mechanical knowledge to support the assembly line effectively.

Duties

• Coordinate daily production activities to ensure smooth operations within the manufacturing facility.
• Oversee the assembly process, ensuring that products are fabricated accurately and efficiently.
• Utilize power tools and hand tools to assist in production tasks as needed.
• Monitor inventory levels of materials and supplies, coordinating with warehouse staff for timely replenishment.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols while operating machinery and equipment.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues on the assembly line, implementing solutions to improve workflow.
• Maintain accurate records of production metrics and report on performance to management.
• Assist in training new employees on production processes, equipment use, and safety procedures.

Experience

• Previous experience in a manufacturing facility or factory setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with assembly line processes and mechanical knowledge is essential.
• Proficient in the use of power tools and hand tools related to fabrication tasks.
• Experience operating forklifts or other warehouse equipment is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members across various departments.
