Its mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination./ppQualifications:/pulliHigh School Diploma or GED/liliMust be 21 years of age/liliMust be able to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis/liliGood people skills/liliMust have ability to follow directions, both written and verbal/liliAbility to meet quotas set by supervisor/liliValid New Mexico drivers license with clean MVR/liliMust be able to pass a criminal background check/liliEmployment contingent upon successful completion of a background check/li/ulpResponsibilities:/pulliPrepare donations (sorting/pricing) to be sent to the store floor, repair area or disposal/liliAccept donations from the general public and distribute to the appropriate area, writing receipts as needed/liliAssist in the store with displaying items/liliDrive the truck as assigned, once the safety training has been completed/liliTrain and monitor beneficiaries in their work therapy assignment in the warehouse/liliEnsure an attitude of dignity and respect as relates to the interpersonal relationships of all employees and/or beneficiaries/liliAct as personal representative of The Salvation Army and treat all customer/donors courteously, answering questions as they arise/liliMeet or exceed production quotas as determined by supervisor/liliKeep immediate work area clean and safe/liliEnsure all accidents involving equipment, personal injury or property damage are reported to supervisor/liliPerform routine maintenance and cleanup on the premises/liliAssist in unloading of trucks, and distribute to the appropriate area/liliOther duties as assigned by your immediate supervisor as they relate to the position of Production Assistant/li/ulpPhysical Requirements: Qualified individuals must be able to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation.
