PR Manager – MR PORTER Mr Porter is the men’s luxury style destination that offers a curated assortment of fashion, fine watches, grooming and lifestyle products from the world’s most coveted designers. The brand delivers exceptional quality with private label, exclusive capsule collaborations and provides expert styling advice, immersive storytelling and a focus on conscious consumerism. Provide strategic and tactical support to the Director of PR and Communications and collaborate with global PR teams. Develop and execute earned media plans and secure brand building coverage for multiple seasonal campaigns, capsule launches, events and on‑site categories such as MR PORTER own label, fine watches, exclusive capsules, the MR PORTER brand and The Journal. Manage brand events across the region in partnership with marketing, creative, social media teams and local production agencies. Increase profiles of brand and spokespeople in the US through media outlets, conferences, podcasts and industry events. Generate creative narratives to showcase MR PORTER story and campaigns. Work closely with the marketing team on special projects and product launches, optimizing owned and earned channels. Compile interview briefings for spokespeople and provide written responses for features and news stories. Collaborate with Buying and Style Directors to ensure brand messaging is supported by compelling insight. Maintain relationships with journalists, media and stylists across the US. Set coverage targets and deliver KPI tracking and reporting with the PR Assistant. Monitor brand exposure ensuring alignment with strategy. Manage the annual PR budget. Qualifications Graduate (or equivalent) with proven PR experience in luxury fashion, menswear or multi‑brand environment. Minimum 7+ years in a PR role. Strong relationships with fashion and lifestyle media; watch media experience highly preferred. Retail PR experience within key US markets preferred. Exceptional event production experience. Track record of creating positive business impact through PR strategy. Strong presentation, superb writing and communication skills. Solid understanding of the luxury fashion industry and digital landscape. Proven commercial experience in fast‑paced environments. Discreet, professional, well‑spoken and excellent communicator. Highly organized, methodical, efficient, and proactive. Creative and strategic thinker with ability to identify communication opportunities across multiple media platforms. Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Compensation Base salary $100,000 – $115,000 annually, negotiable based on skills and experience.
