Aloha,
We are looking to hire engaging and service-minded attendants to work at our Waikiki Beachboys at the Sheraton Waikiki location. Pool Attendants are an integral part of each guest's overall experience while at the resort and while visiting our island.
WHAT TO EXPECT AS A POOL ATTENDANT
1. Provide excellent customer service and spread the Aloha spirit to guests and customers.
2. Assist guests with seating options around the pool, hand out and replenish towels.
3. Assure safety of guests by watching over key areas of the pool where safety is a concern (e.g. slide, spas)
4. Maintaining the overall cleanliness of the pool decks by removing used towels and trash.
5. Addressing guest's needs by answering questions, giving directions and other information regarding the hotel/resort or surrounding areas.
Please note that this job requires frequent walking/standing/pushing/pulling and all shifts are outdoors. This means being able to work in all kinds of weather, from humid and hot to rainy and windy.
SCHEDULE & SHIFTS:
Part-time & full-time available
Shifts begin as early as 6:00am and last shift ends at 8:30pm.
We are an integral part of the Oahu tourism industry and are open 7 days a week all year.
PAY & BENEFITS
Starting pay is $13.50/hour plus tips (new hires fluent in Japanese will be paid $14.50/hour). Pay is re-evaluated after a 90 day probation period.
