Insomniac Events is currently seeking candidates for a Human Resources Intern. This position will provide direct support to the Human Resources team. This is a paid internship and is not a remote position. Responsibilities include gaining knowledge of corporate special event management and activity coordination, working alongside internal staff; corporate lunch and activity coordination; researching event venue locations for corporate sponsored events; maintaining annual social event budget and forecast; exercising project management skills with corporate events; brainstorming employee engagement opportunities; shadowing professional development and training opportunities related to time keeping & payroll, HRIS, recruiting & onboarding, employment law, employee relations, production HR, training & development, benefits; brainstorming company-wide announcements and templates; and other tasks and projects as assigned. Qualifications include being at least 18 years old and currently enrolled in an accredited college, university or trade school; able to work out of Calabasas, CA office at least three days a week; typical commitment of 18-29 hours per week; motivated with an “Everything is possible” attitude; active problem solver with a sense of urgency; knowledge of dance music and Insomniac’s brands. Work environment requires willingness to travel to work during holidays, evenings and weekends as required; ability to tolerate loud noise levels and drastic temperature climates at event locations; ability to work in open concept office space.
