Aurora Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery is seeking a skilled and compassionate Full-Time Surgical Assistant to join our team! As a Surgical Assistant, you will work closely with our oral surgeon and other team members to provide exceptional care to our patients as well as perform light administrative duties. We have a small team so each of us are cross-trained to help in every department. North Aurora, IL 60542 Schedule Full-Time: 30+ hours per week Compensation $22 - $26 per hour (Based on experience) Key Responsibilities Review pre-op and post-op instructions with patients. Review patient health history and updates via the practice management software. Prepare and break down surgical tray and operatories. Qualifications Must be friendly and be able to maintain a smile and positive attitude in high-pressured environments. Superior organizational skills and be able to take initiative. Must be a team player and work well with others. Ability to multi-task, problem-solve, and prioritize tasks. Reliable transportation. Experience and Education Minimum Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 6 months surgical experience or relevant experience in a dental/medical profession.
