\n\nOverview:\n

We are looking for a Nurse Practitioner Preceptor for our AIM (Advanced Illness Management) Program in Pennsylvania . This position will directly report to the VP of Palliative Clinical and is responsible for providing high quality interactions and training with newly hired or tenured NPs during palliative care/AIM visits across the Palliative division.

 

The coverage area would be Pennsylvania - candidate must live and be licensed in PA.  

Remote Position. Travel - 75%

  • Facilitates the learning experience to allow preceptees to perform competently in their required responsibilities. This is achieved through mentoring, coaching, and role modeling correct behaviors.
  • Performs patient home visits as needed
  • Orients new or trains tenured NPs (preceptees) which includes palliative clinical policies and procedures, documentation, value-based required patient outcomes, technology, and compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Performs ongoing metric monitoring to provide ongoing coaching and feedback directly or indirectly with preceptees.
\n\nAbout You:\n
  • Advanced Practice Practitioner required
  • Unencumbered NP and RN license in Pennsylvania - must live and be licensed in PA
  • Active DEA license
  • Current CPR certification
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a clinical setting
  • Experienced in part B documentation requirements
