Aerotek's client is looking for a Masonry Worker to join their team and assist at their Beltsville/Hanover location

As a Masonry Worker, you will be responsible for applying selected tile to customer forms and pouring and finishing concrete for ovens. This role involves brick laying for ovens, repairing oven exteriors as necessary, estimating materials and costs, laying out work, and requesting materials and supplies. You will also assist the supervisor with special projects.

Responsibilities

• Apply selected tile to customer forms and pour and finish concrete for ovens.
• Perform brick laying for ovens.
• Repair oven exteriors if necessary.
• Estimate materials and costs accurately.
• Lay out work and request necessary materials and supplies.
• Assist supervisor with special projects.

Essential Skills

• At least 2 years of experience in tile work and masonry.
• Accuracy and attention to detail in work performance.
• Ability to work independently.
• Capability to meet deadlines timely while producing quality work.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Willingness to assist on other small projects if needed.
• Experience with assembly, hand tools, production, concrete, masonry, brick laying, stonemasonry.
• Knowledge of assembly, wiring, mechanical assembly, hand and power tools, electrical work.

Work Environment

• The work environment is a manufacturing facility that is not temperature-controlled, accommodating around 80 people split between two shifts. Available shifts are from 6 am to 2:30 pm and 9 am to 5:30 pm, with flexibility based on individual preferences.

Qualified candidates will be given a call within 48 hours of submitting an application

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
