KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Achieve a zero-work place injury and incident record by maintaining a clean and organized work place using Lean manufacturing and 5 s techniques.
• Properly train and supervise personnel regarding ink management and “on press” performance.
• Coordinate scheduling of ink orders to maintain adequate supply to meet Customer demand, while aligning with inventory days on hand targets.
• Train personnel to Weigh, blend, QC, and deliver in a productive, efficient, and safe manner press-ready inks to meet the demands of the customer’s production schedule.
• Follow appropriate quality control and inspection process to include Color control with X Rite equipment,
• Prepare and maintain accurate manufacturing and quality control records to meet production dates per customer’s schedule, ink adjustments at press, press downtime documents, root cause and corrective actions.
• Scheduling of Ink room personnel to staff Ink room to meet Customer demand, while minimizing personnel overtime.
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels of all products to support the customer demand while also meeting On Hand Inventory targets.
• Work off press return inventory to meet targets.

Ideal Candidate : Minimum three years of successful in-plant solvent based ink experience. Experience Needed - Strong, Proven Solvent Ink and Technical Press Trouble shooting, Leadership Management - Data Driven

Requirements:

Must be able to pass background and drug screen.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum three years of successful in-plant experience .
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Strong Solvent Flexo Ink Room / Technical Press Management Experience
• Bi- lingual (Spanish / English)
• Strong Color Theory Understanding and skills (color Match - press toning)
• Quality Control / Data Driven. Lean Manufacturing / Process Improvement Oriented

Primary Work Schedule: M-F, Day shift but may alternate based on needs.

Skills and Certifications [note: bold skills and certification are required]

Solvent Ink experience / Technical Press Skills / Leadership

Candidate Details: 2+ to 5 years experience. Seniority Level - Mid-Senior

Management Experience Required – Yes. Minimum Education - High School Diploma or Equivalent

Has solvent based ink experience?

Has at least 3 years of leadership experience?

Has at least 3 years of manufacturing experience?

Can reasonably commute or relocate to Houston, TX, or Arden Hills, MN.?
