We are working with an established Packaging Manufacturer based in Apple Creek, Ohio . They are recruiting for a Maintenance Electrician to join their team on 1st Shift in return for a salary in the region of $30 - $35 p/h along with excellent employment benefits which include 401K, Healthcare, Vision and Dental, PTO and Life Insurance.

Duties and Responsibilities as a Maintenance Electrician include:

Perform Preventative and Corrective Maintenance on electrical systems, controls and equipment including extruders, winders and associated machinery
Troubleshoot and repair motors, drives, PLC's, Sensors, Relays, and Control Panels
Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints and manuals
Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and plant electrical projects
Ensure compliance with national and local electrical codes and plant safety standards
Collaborate with production engineering and maintenance teams to minimize downtime
Document work performed, update electrical drawings and maintain accurate records
Support continuous improvement, energy efficiency and reliability initiatives

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED; Completion of a recognized electrician apprenticeship or technical school preferred
State electrician license or certification (Desirable)
3+ years of experience in industrial or manufacturing electrical work, preferably in plastics or paper converting environments
Strong knowledge of motors, drives, PLC's (Allen Bradley a plus) and industrial electrical systems
Ability to work from heights, in confined spaces and respond to emergencies as needed
