Logistics Coordinator

You will be responsible for ensuring a seamless execution of import, export and domestic moves from point of origin to their destination. Responsibilities include efficiently handling inventory transactions, controlling the movement of shipments and deliveries, consolidation inventory and third-party vendor material and services.

Essential Duties

• Coordinates the delivery of all main unit shipments with carriers and rigging companies
• Complies with C-TPAT requirements
• Accurately maintains and updates ERP physical inventory to ensure real time inventory visibility
• Enters ERP inventory location-to-location transactions as they occur
• Compiles and maintains documentation confirming that shipments are handled legally and efficiently
• Receives drop shipments into inventory for billing and inventory movement purposes
• Tracks and traces shipments from point of departure up to delivery and expedites movement of goods with carriers
• Reviews freight invoices for accuracy and assigns proper coding to allocate cost
• Tracks and updates pack lists, physical inventory documents and systems
• Identifies and resolves inventory discrepancies

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree plus 6 to 12 months logistics experience, or equivalent combination
• Experience with import or export required
• Knowledge of standard regulations related to domestic and international protocols
• Knowledge of NetSuite or similar system preferred
• Microsoft Office proficiency is required
• Knowledge and experience with C-TPAT requirements

Salary Minimum: $65,000 - Salary Maximum $75,000

The base range above represents the low and high end of the JEOL salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition, JEOL provides a variety of benefits to eligible employees including health and dental insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a 401K plan with company match and contribution, tuition reimbursement, paid holidays, paid sick time, and paid vacation.
