Primary Responsibilities:

•Develop and cultivate relationships with the Dallas-Fort Worth & Houston brokerage communities.

•Act as Broker of record (broker license preferred but not required) for sites we lease in-house.

•Directly lease in-house portfolio as well as oversee/manage third party brokers.

•Develop and implement a comprehensive leasing strategy and oversee leasing process from start to finish including but not limited to:

1. Arrange and Conduct tours with potential tenants.
2. Prepare LOIs for potential tenants.
3. Utilize CRM system to track leads from proposal to fully executed lease.
4. Coordinate and communicate with attorneys during lease negotiations
5. Request and review tenant and guarantor financial statements and pertinent information to ascertain credit tenancy and viability.
6. Keep executive management team informed of any issues.
7. Assist in and facilitate the technology stack that Basis is deploying across the portfolio.
8. Attend industry conferences and seminars to keep abreast of submarket and regional intel and sector guidance and outlook.
9. Serve as main point of contact for all lease prospect inquiries.

Qualifications:

• Approx 3-7 years of leasing experience as either a Landlord Rep or Tenant Rep.

• Active TEXAS Brokers License preferred.

• Knowledge of real estate software like Yardi, Yardi Deal Manager, Loopnet, Crexi, Costar, etc.

• Strong customer service skills.

• Comfort with multitasking.

• Powerful sales skills.

• Ability to work independently
