Job Summary

The Human Resources Intern will provide visibility into a coordinator role which provides involvement in all matters of day-to-day human resources activities. Also, the Intern will be involved in recruiting, employee relations, and learning the human resources information systems. The intern will experience a broad overview of human resources and gain insight on what a career in human resources has to offer.

Job Duties

Minimum Qualifications

• College Sophomore, Junior, or Senior student with a concentration in Human Resource Management, Business, Psychology, or related field (completed 30 hours)
• Overall GPA of 3.0 (Must provide proof of current GPA at time of hire to verify eligibility requirements are met)
• Working knowledge of computer software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional demeanor
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels within the organization
• Must be able to work in a team environment and possess excellent customer service skills
• Ability to obtain a Transportation Worker's Identification Credential (TWIC )
• Valid drivers' license
