Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all linens, towels, and garments are cleaned, pressed, and presented to the highest standards. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and quality of our laundry services, particularly in a hotel environment.

Duties

• Operate washing machines and dryers according to established procedures to ensure optimal cleaning results.
• Sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry items including linens, towels, and guest garments.
• Perform dry cleaning tasks as needed, ensuring proper handling of delicate fabrics.
• Inspect all items for stains or damage prior to washing and report any issues to management.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, adhering to health and safety standards.
• Collaborate with housekeeping staff to ensure timely delivery of clean items for guest use.
• Assist in inventory management of laundry supplies and report low stock levels as necessary.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in laundry services or a similar role is preferred.
• Familiarity with cleaning products, equipment, and techniques used in laundry operations.
• Hotel experience is a plus, providing insight into the specific needs of hospitality laundry services.
• Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on quality control in cleaning processes.
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Part-time
