Journeyman Electrician

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our team, responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in industrial settings. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of electrical distribution and compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC).

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in industrial facilities.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant electrical codes and safety regulations, including NEC standards.
• Conduct routine inspections and troubleshooting of electrical systems to identify and resolve issues promptly.
• Collaborate with engineers and other construction professionals to develop and implement electrical solutions.
• Document all work performed, including maintenance logs and compliance reports.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with industry standards and advancements.

Qualifications

• Current TDLR Journeyman license.
• 4+ years of electrical experience in an industrial, oil/gas or manufacturing setting.
• Strong knowledge of NEC and other applicable electrical codes.
• Experience with electrical distribution, motor controls, PLCs, VFDs, and grounding/bonding practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams, schematics, and blueprint.
