Job Description

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

1. Project Manager must be a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and must have a minimum of five years’ PMP experience leading an IV&V project of comparable size and complexity.
2. Project Manager will have experience with IV&V methodologies and industry-standard best practices in project management and system development.
3. Project Manager will have organizational, communication, and leadership skills and must be available to present executive project presentations to multiple levels of project and agency leadership and to other government executives.
4. Project Manager will have, at a minimum, 5 years of the following experience:
5. Experience in large-scale IT projects in a number of state government environments.
6. Experience performing IV&V activities on large-scale IT projects in a number of state government environments.
7. Experience with Systems Development and IV&V methodologies and best practices.
8. Experience in providing independent and objective third-party reviews of projects with the intent of protecting the state’s interests.
9. Experience in conducting IV&V to provide documented evaluations and assessments throughout the project lifecycle.
10. Expertise in the review and analysis of the artifacts and deliverables to evaluate the effectiveness of project management and systems development processes, methodologies, and execution.
11. Experience with industry standard best practices and methodology in risk and issue analysis and management.
12. Proficiency in guidance and training related to industry-standard best practices and methodologies in project management and systems development.
13. Experience with industry-standard best practices regarding quality principles and techniques.
