Role Purpose Statement

Were seeking a detail-driven, people-oriented Human Resources Assistant to support the daily functions of our HR department in a fast-paced airline catering environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on organization, enjoys helping others, and is comfortable balancing administrative tasks with hands-on support.

This role ensures accuracy, confidentiality, and timely completion of HR processes while serving as a key point of contact for employee inquiries. By supporting both employees and HR leadership, the Human Resources Assistant contributes to creating an efficient, employee-focused, and compliant HR environment that aligns with LSG Sky Chefs' organizational goals.

Main Accountabilities

• Support the administration of HR policies, procedures, and union agreements
• Manage uniform inventory, which includes maintaining organized records and occasionally lifting items up to 20 lbs.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws
• Maintain accurate records and personnel documentation
• Provide day-to-day support to employees and managers across various departments
• Help resolve employee inquiries with a customer-service mindset
• Prepare onboarding materials and assist with new hire orientation sessions
• Completes periodic audits on internal records (e.g. I-9 Forms, employee files, etc.) to ensure compliance.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• Detail-oriented and comfortable with physical tasks (Ex: occasional need to lift items up to 20 pounds during uniform management activities)
• Support the administration of HR policies, procedures, and union agreements
