Executive Chef and Owner Philippe Massoud has built ilili’s reputation as a culinary go-to destination for elevated Lebanese cuisine. ilili’s restaurants are a vibrant and bustling meeting place where the refinement of neighborhoods meets the generosity of Lebanese hospitality.

As a Host at ilili, you will work as an integral part of the service team and play a large role in cultivating an excellent guest experience. You will be the first line of contact with guests and ensuring that they are warmly greeted and efficiently seated while ensuring their needs are met while waiting

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain a warm and welcoming demeanor towards guests from when they first arrive though their departure
• Field reservation inquiries through Open Table and via phone
• Responsible for answering all incoming phone calls and answering guest requests/inquiries in a timely and professional manner
• Assist in plotting out the daily layout of all reservations and navigate walk-in requests with future reservations in mind
• Maintain customer notes and communicate these preferences/needs with the Management staff to ensure seamless and thoughtful a dining experience
• Stay calm under pressure—ability to orchestrate smooth service when the restaurant becomes busy
• Check in items before seating guests as requested and follow Coat Check SOP for keeping organization in this area
• Train new Hosts (as needed) on delivering excellent service while maintaining standard shift responsibilities noted above; such training to occur on-the-job with new hosts shadowing you as you perform your key responsibilities
• Assist fellow team members as needed to ensure seamless customer experience

As a member of our team you should have:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a host/maître’d in a fast-paced, high-end restaurant
• A positive attitude and excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluency in English is required. Other language knowledge is a plus!
• The ability to stand for long periods of time. You should also be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 20 lbs
• Flexible availability: weekends, nights, and holiday availability is a must!

**The compensation for this role falls between $18-22/hr **
