Job Description

Repairs and maintains heavy construction equipment according to company quality and safety standards.

Hours: 7am-3:30pm, Mon-Fri

Pay: $25-$30 per hour

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Repair of large heavy construction equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, etc. according to company standards.
• Must be willing and able to work on vehicles at any location that it is disabled (not be in a shop).
• Must be willing and able to work in inclement weather or any weather conditions.
• Performs main component changes on engines, pumps, transmission, etc.
• Must be able to work on pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical systems, etc.
• Must have own hand tools and power tools.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience.
• Troubleshooting electronic controls for various equipment. 
• Promote operations in a safe, efficient and professional manner.
• Comply with company’s safety training and procedures.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs. Able to lift 65 lbs from floor to shoulder level occasionally.
• Ability to occasionally lift, carry, push or pull up to 100 lbs.
• Requires frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, climbing, balancing, lifting, carrying, and reaching or handling with arms, hands and fingers. 
• Requires frequent repetitive movements, i.e. hammering, turning wrenches, or used screwdrivers.
