The ideal candidate is a competitive self-starter that thrives in a fast-paced environment. You must be comfortable making dozens of calls per day, working with partners, generating interest, qualifying prospects, and closing sales.

Responsibilities

• Meet with current clients to recommend proper insurance plan for their needs for the upcoming year
• Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
• Prospect call preparation including company background research and other pertinent lead information
• Identify customer's buying trends and provide reports to management
• Enter, update, and maintain CRM information on leads, prospects, and opportunities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business
• South Carolina Life/Accident/Health insurance license
• Insurance background strongly preferred but not required
• At least 1 - 3 years' of sales experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
• Ability to keep on schedule in a fast paced environment and complete tasks efficiently and effectively with the upmost professionalism

Inside Sales Specialist

The Insurance Source is looking for a savvy, experienced inside sales professional familiar with health insurance. The Inside Sales Representative innately understands what service is all about--and has the ability to communicate a complex product (insurance) in a way people understand and also do it with a smile and excellent customer service. The Inside Sales Representative will capture, create and deliver relevant daily content, monitor conversations and track performance metrics.

The Inside Sales Specialist will report to the Director of Operations and the Owner.
