About the Role
The Company is in search of a Head of Marketing and Communications to lead the strategic development and execution of a national brand, marketing, and communications strategy. The successful candidate will be a visionary strategist, adept at translating the organization's mission into compelling, values-driven storytelling that inspires civic action. This role requires a hands-on, adaptable leader with a proven track record in shaping brand strategy, and a deep understanding of the media and cultural landscape. The Head of MarComms will be responsible for brand strategy and leadership, integrated marketing and communications, digital growth and analytics, and partnership marketing. They will also be tasked with building and leading a high-performing, mission-driven team, and must be energized by the vision of bridging divides and promoting constructive problem-solving. Applicants for the Head of Marketing and Communications position at the company should have at least 15 years' of experience in communications, public relations, or media strategy, with a focus on national, political, social impact, or brand reputation arenas. The role demands a candidate with a strong background in shaping public narratives, securing national coverage, and positioning values-driven voices. The ideal candidate will be a strategic storyteller with a data-driven mindset, a hands-on and adaptable leader, and a team builder with a passion for civic engagement.
