Job Description – EnglishAs part of a commitment to world-class manufacturing, the Global Performance System (GPS) Coordinator plays a vital role in driving operational excellence, cultural transformation, and Lean manufacturing practices. This position leads division-wide initiatives to implement GPS pillars and tools that improve safety, productivity, quality, and cost efficiency. Acting as a hands-on change agent, the Coordinator supports pillar teams, provides training, and ensures consistent best practices across all departments.
Responsibilities
Deploy and sustain GPS pillars: Safety, Quality, Maintenance, Productivity, Cost, and People Development.
Train, coach, and mentor employees at all levels on GPS tools and methodologies (5S, DTM, DMAIC, problem-solving).
Serve as a liaison between plant leadership and divisional specialists to align priorities and drive accountability.
Support cross-functional teams in setting and achieving performance goals using KPIs and visual management systems.
Maintain and audit model machine boards, team communication boards, and daily tracking metrics.
Facilitate Kaizen, rapid improvement events, and other Lean/Six Sigma initiatives.
Guide pillar team leaders on standardized work, goal setting, and gap analysis.
Track and report operational losses (OEE, scrap, downtime) and propose improvement initiatives.
Support internal reviews and audits, preparing materials and performance reports.
Conduct weekly floor walks with plant leaders to assess controls, 5S compliance, and best practices.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Operations, or Manufacturing (preferred).
Minimum 3 years of manufacturing experience with exposure to Lean or CI systems (GPS, TPM, etc.).
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with ability to build training materials and dashboards.
Hands-on experience with Lean manufacturing or OEE initiatives.
Bilingual in English and French (required).
Strong communication, coaching, and leadership skills.
Comfortable working on the production floor and adapting to multiple shifts if needed.
High integrity, organizational ability, and results-oriented mindset.

Former, coacher et encadrer les employe s a tous les niveaux sur les outils GPS (5S, DTM, DMAIC, re solution de proble mes).
Servir de lien entre la direction de l'usine et les spe cialistes divisionnels pour aligner les priorite s et assurer la responsabilisation.
Soutenir les e quipes multidisciplinaires dans la de finition et l'atteinte des objectifs de performance a l'aide de KPI et de syste mes de gestion visuelle.
Maintenir et auditer les tableaux de machines mode les, les tableaux de communication d'e quipe et les indicateurs quotidiens.
Animer et participer aux e ve nements Kaizen, aux chantiers « rapid improvement » et autres initiatives Lean/Six Sigma.
Encadrer les leaders de piliers sur le travail standardise , l'e tablissement d'objectifs et l'analyse des e carts.
Assurer le suivi et la communication des pertes (TRG/OEE, rebuts, arre ts) et proposer des ame liorations.
Soutenir les revues et audits internes, pre parer les documents et rapports de performance.
Parcourir le plancher de production chaque semaine avec les leaders pour examiner les contro les, la conformite 5S et les meilleures pratiques.
Effectuer toute autre ta che connexe assigne e.
Diplo me universitaire ou e quivalent en ge nie, ope rations ou fabrication (pre fe re ).
Minimum 3 ans d'expe rience en milieu manufacturier avec exposition aux syste mes Lean ou CI (GPS, TPM, etc.).
Mai trise de Microsoft Excel, Word et PowerPoint; capacite de cre er du mate riel de formation et des tableaux de bord.
Expe rience pratique avec des initiatives Lean ou Cliente es sur le TRG/OEE.
Bilingue franc ais et anglais (obligatoire).
Excellentes aptitudes en communication, coaching et leadership.
A l'aise sur le plancher de production et disponible pour couvrir plusieurs quarts au besoin.
