Rate of Pay: $15 per hour Job Summary SCA is seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a General Laborer/Non CDL Driver. In this role, you will perform a variety of tasks to support our daily operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work well as part of a team. Key Responsibilities as a General Laborer/Non CDL Driver You must be comfortable with completing work in oncoming traffic. You will have protection by TMA vehicles. Drive a pickup truck, physically pick up debris (to include but not limited to litter, debris, furniture, tires, etc.), and place in caged bed of truck. Clean various highway locations in and surrounding metroplex assigned daily. Make numerous stops and exit the truck to remove debris/trash from highway shoulders and adjacent edges of highway shoulders. Wear proper and required PPE. Complete assigned job(s) in the time allotted and maintain quality of work. Report any equipment failures, near misses or accidents to Lead or Supervisor within 15 minutes. Perform labor duties as required by team lead/Supervisor. Perform all other duties as assigned. Requirements/Skills Valid Driver’s License Good Driving Record Ability to pass employment and random drug tests Ability to follow directions, work with GPS and tablet, and adapt to the work environment Proper work attire (pants, shirt with short sleeves at a minimum), above-the-ankle work boots, and required PPE High school diploma or equivalent, or equivalent work experience closely related to the field Outdoor work with exposure to variable and adverse weather conditions Exposure to noise, vibrations, jarring, fumes, grease, oil & chemicals Active physical work involving lifting (50+ lbs), carrying, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, reaching; frequently walking, standing, driving and operating equipment for extended periods Focus adjustment, depth perception, clear close & distant vision; use of ear, eye, and other safety equipment Regular use of hands to finger, handle, feel or operate objects, tools or controls Regular use of eyes, shoulders & neck to monitor vehicle mirrors Additional Perks & Benefits Health Coverage: Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and life insurance options.
