We are currently seeking a motivated Forklift Operator to join the dynamic team of a world-renowned automotive manufacturer in Schomberg, Ontario. This is a great opportunity to be part of a fast-paced, innovative environment focused on building the future of mobility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate Counterbalance and Raymond Reach forklifts to load, unload, move, and stack products within the warehouse.
• Perform daily equipment inspections (pre-shift checks) and report any maintenance issues or safety concerns.
• Accurately pick, stage, and store products as per warehouse requirements and inventory procedures.
• Handle materials efficiently to prevent product damage and ensure proper stacking and palletizing.
• Follow safety protocols and company procedures, especially in high-traffic and narrow-aisle areas.
• Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, including verifying orders, labeling, and preparing goods for dispatch.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring aisles and storage spaces remain clear.
• Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet daily production targets.
• Use RF scanners or inventory systems to update stock movement and maintain accurate records.
• Adhere to company policies regarding workplace safety, quality standards, and productivity expectations.

Qualifications Required

• Valid Forklift License/Certification for Counterbalance and Raymond Reach trucks.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience operating both Counterbalance and Raymond Reach forklifts.
• Strong understanding of workplace safety practices and OSHA/WHMIS standards.
• Ability to perform pre-operational equipment checks and identify/report mechanical issues.
• Good English communication skills (reading, writing, speaking) for safety instructions and reporting.
• Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs, with stamina for extended shifts.
• Proficiency with RF scanners, inventory systems, and warehouse tools (an asset).
• Must have own vehicle to commute to Schomberg (location not accessible by transit).
• Eligible to work in Canada – Work Permit, PR, or Citizen (no students).
• Flexibility to work overnight shifts (10:30 PM – 7:00 AM) and overtime if required.

Pay: CA$21.00 - CA$22.00 per hour
Shift Time: 10:30 PM to 7 AM (Monday to Friday)
