Our Award Winning Client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Food Service Director to join their nationally recognized team. As a key member of our client's organization, you will lead and oversee dining operations, ensuring exceptional service and culinary excellence. US Citizenship or Green Card Holders only apply.

Offering a variety of dining options, including breakfast and lunch programs, catering, and retail operations, our client is renowned for their commitment to excellence. As the Food Service Director, you will play a vital role in maintaining our client's reputation for culinary innovation and outstanding service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop teams to maximize their contributions and foster a culture of excellence.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards across all operations.
  • Develop and implement food service plans aligned with the client's mission and vision, including sustainable practices.
  • Manage budget and financial performance, including cost controls and revenue growth.
  • Establish and maintain systems for ordering, receiving, storing, and serving food products, as well as menu planning and development.
  • Foster effective client and customer relationships at all levels within client organizations.
  • Supervise unit personnel in areas such as production, merchandising, quality control, and employee training.
  • Participate in the sales process and contract negotiations.
  • Identify opportunities for introducing new products and services to support sales growth and client retention.
  • Ensure full compliance with operational standards, including food and labor requirements.
  • Implement and sustain initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and profitability.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Manage the front-of-house operations in dining facilities.
  • Conduct periodic inventory checks and maintain records to comply with standards and regulations.
  • Recruit, hire, develop, and retain front-line teams.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 4 years of food service experience.
  • 1-3 years of management experience required.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to cultivate effective client relationships.
  • Demonstrated commitment to excellent customer service.
  • Ability to collaborate with other departments to ensure a cohesive food service experience.
  • Ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Capable of standing for extended periods.
